After leaving the mountain refuge of FODARA VEDLA you walk towards Biella. At Ota del Brancio, a wild path will lead you to a wonderful lake, Fosses, a famous pasture for sheep. The path is rather steep and challenging, but once you reach the ridge Remeda Rossa, your final aim is not far away. As soon as you reach the peak of Piccola Croda Rossa, you will admire the towering Croda Rossa (3140m) on the opposite side and, in the east, the three peaks of Lavaredo.
